The Local Urban Plan
What is a PLU?
Since December 13, 2000, the Local Urban Planning Plan, or PLU, defines a set of urban rules and prescriptions in terms of development intended for municipalities. It operates in a spirit of balance between the preservation of natural spaces and the necessary development of urban spaces.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
This global development project makes it possible to manage the land and architectural issues of each municipality with a concern for sustainable development. It is enforceable against administrations, developers, individuals who wish to construct or modify a building, or any other urban development.

Approval file for the Local Urban Plan
Since January 1, 2018, Quimperlé Communauté has become the contracting authority for the procedure for preparing town planning documents. The objective is twofold: to develop together, municipalities and community, the local urban plan and at the same time work on a global vision of the territory. Under development, the Local Plan of Inter-municipal Urbanism (PLUi) will eventually replace all the municipal PLUs to allow more regular and less expensive updating.
